Successful treatment relies on the connection between client and therapist. Our initial 1-2 sessions provides an opportunity for me to learn about you and assess how well my skills match your needs. This period provides you an opportunity to evaluate our “fit,” ask questions about the therapeutic approaches that I suggest, and to assess my recommendations. If we decide that I am not the right therapist for you, I can help you find therapists who better meets your needs. Step 2

Please complete the forms and bring them with you for your first session. These will allow us to work together more efficiently and spend more time discussing your concerns/mapping out a recommended plan.

 

Step 3

Review the PDFs before the first session. By law we need to provide you HIPAA (Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act Provisions) for review. The form for release of information will be used in specific situations and you do not need to complete it for your first session. Please review these documents and ask your provider if you have any questions.
